Justin’s reason being “he believes it doesn’t accurately represent the best artists when it comes to young musicians”; Justin was nominated for four awards. Kanye announced that he would not appear during October at a concert, where he had ranted about his friend Frank Ocean not being a nominee due to missed deadline dates and the Grammys not allowing an exception like they had done for Gaga back in 2009. Therefore he is boycotting, according to m.eonline.com. He reportedly has had a rough couple months, hospitalized for a break down at the end of 2016, and his wife Kim Kardashian being robbed at gunpoint. This all could lead to his decision of not appearing at the Award Ceremony. Drake has a concert the night of the Grammy’s in Manchester, England, resulting in his absence.
