Disney movie mysteries
Unknown hidden characters and secrets
April 4, 2018
Disney is known for their classic movies and even their newest released ones. The evolution of these movies started from animated films to live action films as well. Since 1937 when Walt Disney Studios released their first full animation film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs, the movie and animation world has changed. Disney movies have become a popular choice for family movie nights and repetitive watching. Their catchy tunes and continuous adventures keep kids entertained and obsessed with these movies for hours.
People have watched these films so much it would not be a shock if they could recite every word and scene. However, there have been many things disguised in these movies that even regular watchers would not notice. In backgrounds of movies other disney characters are found hidden and barely anyone catches on to these appearances.
One common comparison is in the movies The Jungle Book and Bedknobs and Broomsticks. Baloo and Fisherman Bear, the main characters from each movie, have many similar attributes. These similarities however, have not gone unnoticed. Many believe that the two are clones of each other. This is a popular theory that watchers did notice and made the connection between the two characters. This suggests that there could be other secret concepts such as this one within other Disney movies.
Another familiar theory appears at the beginning of Frozen, at Elsa’s Coronation.
People believe to have seen Rapunzel and Flynn Rider walking in the crowd as they walked toward the castle for the celebration. This strange appearance makes Disney fans wonder whether it is just a fluke or was done on purpose for an unknown reason.
Some of the unfamiliar examples are found on Viral Nova: Hans from Frozen appears on a poster in Big Hero 6, a copy of the book Rapunzel is found in The Princess and the Frog, and Jock from Lady and the Tramp makes an appearance in 101 Dalmatians.
Sophomore Olivia Brenczewski just visited Walt Disney World in February for 10 days. She has been visiting Disney ever since she was a kid and it is a tradition for her and her family to go as their family trip every summer. She says, “I have been to Disney 13 times and watching Disney movies is very popular in my family. I have watched these movies so many times, but have surprisingly never noticed some of the hidden characters, and I was shocked when I found out about them.” Even some of the biggest Disney fans have never even heard about the theories because it is kept secretive and unnoticed.
Walt Disney is the one to credit for all of these amazing, classic movies that anyone can easily enjoy. He has won twenty-six Academy Awards and holds the record for the most Academy Awards. Disney himself says, “You can design and create, and build the most wonderful place in the world. But it takes people to make the dream a reality.” He passed in 1966, yet the Disney legacy and the continuation of adding these hidden things has been sustained in movies by the people who have kept his brilliance alive.
