Transitioning from fall to winter is a stressful time for seniors. College applications have to be completed. This includes essays, transcripts, letters of recommendation, and various other possible requirements which vary from college to college. Within the local Virginia area, there are a few major magnet schools that draw from Battlefield’s population: Virginia Tech, The University of Virginia, George Mason University, James Madison University, Virginia Commonwealth University, and Northern Virginia Community College.
