Kourtney Kardashian, the eldest of the seven Kardashian siblings, has never been employed unlike her other siblings. Her siblings have always tormented her with the fact she has never moved on from her teenage years and pursued a career. Kourtney decided to change that image for herself and create her own blog. Her blog is called Poosh, named after her daughter, Penelope. Poosh is something she is very passionate about. On Poosh, Kourtney and other authors write about topics such as decor, wellness, self care, and lifestyle. One can find relationship tips and weight loss advice as well on the blog. Not only does Kourtney give great advice on big topics, she also recommends her favorite items that she uses on herself and her children. One can buy recommended lotions, soaps, and weight loss foods and powders on the web-page, which are located in a separate part of the blog. Although Kourtney writes most of her articles, her friends and family have a few featured articles as well. Kourtney’s main goal is to reach modern women through her content. She told Los Angeles Times,”the modern women, in my opinion, is somebody who cares about the planet, cares about what we are putting in our bodies from the inside and out, and just doing our best without feeling judged for not being perfect.” Kourtney is attempting to reach out to modern women, but there are articles on Poosh for men as well. One can find new content on the web-page everyday and can be found on all of Kourtney’s other social medias as well.

Kourtney also uses Poosh to inform her readers of harmful chemicals that could possibly be in their everyday products. She strongly believes in keeping personal care products safe for everyone to use. Her three children are her top priority, she would never want something as tiny as a lotion to harm them. Kourtney had recently been informed that a law that protects personal care products has not been updated in 80 years. The Environmental Working Group says on their webpage,”when we had told Kourtney Kardashian that the law which regulates the ingredients in personal care products had not been updated in 80 years, she was appalled.” The law not only protects personal care products but child products too. Kourtney tends to post safe products that her readers can use on themselves and their children without the scare of the products being harmful.

High School students also use this website to help them with their own insecurities and mental issues. Coming to high school one can face a lot of hate and mental obstacles in their four years of high school. Poosh recommends ways to get through those tough times in an easy and efficient way. Alexia Colhoe, a student who attends Brentsville High School, says,”Poosh benefited me with giving ideas and a better understanding on things I didn’t know or would have never thought of.” Poosh can help not only adults but students who are looking for advice as well.
